Dear Students and Families,

It is with a great sense of pride and excitement that I write this letter to introduce myself as CEO of Philadelphia Performing Arts: A String Theory Charter School. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such wonderful students, dedicated staff, and supportive families. 

In my role as CEO, I am committed to continuing the legacy of success and excellence established when we opened our doors for the first time in the fall of 2000.

Each and every day I strive to fully support the vision and mission of our school, and ensure that we provide a multitude of opportunities for our students to explore their interests in the arts and academics. It has always been my goal to partner with my students, staff, and families to establish a culture that values high standards and provides rich learning experiences.

I feel very fortunate to be part of this wonderful school, we are truly unique!

I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than 42 years in a variety of roles, and have worked with students ranging from Kindergarten through middle school. Through my tenure in education, I have accumulated much experience and am excited to be able to share my knowledge with my students and staff. 

As your school CEO, it is important to me that every person who steps through our doors is excited to be here and feels welcome! This attitude enables me to cultivate academic and artistic excellence in a positive environment, and continue our mission to awaken and nurture a lifelong love of learning in every child.
